The Functional Chocolate Company launched their new Shopify website with a custom design and integrated Recharge system for subscriptions. The new site makes it easy to select an assortment of chocolate to purchase for a variety of health purposes. From sleep support to PMS symptom relief each chocolate bar is formulated with ingredients designed to support your body and taste great!
To start Cadence designed mock ups for this client of both desktop and mobile layouts. From there we implemented the designs, integrated plugins, assisted with the setup and launched the new website with the client!

Custom Features
It was important for the customers to purchase a minimum amount of chocolate bars – so we made a custom cart and build a box page that allowed multiple bars to be added easily in one location. Plus it clearly showed what amount was needed to allow checkout.
Easily Editable Pages
With Shopify’s easy to use CMS the client has full control over all of their page content. They can update pages without needing a developer. Additionally each product page is unique to each chocolate bar, from content to images and colors! This makes it very easy for customers to draw relations between the packaging and the purpose.
Quickbooks Integration
Like many companies the client needed to integrate Quickbooks into their account for order processing, inventory management and accounting purposes. We supported the client with setup and workarounds for some of their accounting issues.
